Meet your veterinarian:

Dr. Amanda Bevans, DVM, BSc, AHT

Dr. Amanda Bevans is a graduate of St. George’s University and completed her clinical year of veterinary medicine at the University of Minnesota. She began her veterinary career in 2001 as a Registered Veterinary Technologist (Olds College) and worked in small animal medicine while obtaining her undergraduate degree (University of Lethbridge).

She has advanced training including; Fear Free Certification: Level 2, Veterinary Business Management, a Human Animal Bond Certificate and is a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian from the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy.

After working in emergency and urgent care and performing in home pet euthanasias she realized the importance, value and kindness of a peaceful passing for a pet in its own home and wanted to offer this service for pets in the Red Deer area where she has lived for 16 years.
